Adobe Flex 4.5 is available for developers for exploration and providing interface beauty to Java applications. In general Java developers are more inclined in providing robust enterprise structure to their application than beauty of application. Flex is capable of providing very nice outlook to any application. A little configuration and drag and drop of flex components can create user interface for their easy job.
If we look from Java perspective, I found that the new version of flex is moving more towards presentation than for enterprise business logic handling.It could be very nice combination if we could take flex for front end and use Java for back end business logic. Flex is also a object oriented language, so, if we don't dig much in Action script, it will be an easy front end development. Drag n drop and extensive support from flex community makes it more easier in case one feels trapped in some challenging situation.
In addition to the new support for mobile applications, its a great adventure to explore a very interesting and futuristic technology.
It will only take a determined first step for a developer want to explore new horizon.
